Draw a picture representing the situation surrounding a sustainability issue. A rich picture is simply a drawing of the way you see a given situation at a particular moment in time. The quality of the art is not important. Instead what matters is that you represent all of the elements, relationships, emotions, and interactions relevant to the issue at hand.
