Within this section, you will provide an introduction to your Portfolio. Remember, the introduction is the broad beginning to your paper, sets the stage, and provides context for the paper. It should be a primer for the reader. (Portfolio is about my internship with SOAR office, classes I took withing higher education and project I completed)
INTRODUCTION TO M.ED. COURSEWORK (2 pages)
You should explore and articulate how your coursework in the M.Ed. Program has been useful to your professional development as a higher education administrator. You should examine the program broadly and identify a few courses in detail. (courses :Learning Theories and Applications

INTRODUCTION TO PRACTICUM EXPERIENCE (one page)
This introduction will be an overview of the Practicum project/experience. This will include a preview of connection to previous coursework/content (theory-to-practice) and articulation of how the experience professionally developed and supported your career goals. Practicum project was to make powerpoint presentation and public speaking in front of students and parents related to American Higher Education course)
OVERALL REFELCTION OF THE EXPERIENCE (two page)
You will writee reflection on your Practicum experience. (Practicum was with admissions office SOAR program) What did you like? What did you dislike? Is the experience what you thought it would be? Did it help you develop academically, professionally, and/or personally? If so, how? What were the key takeaways from the experience?
WORDS OF WISDOM
What advice or words of encouragement do you have for future student interested in the program? Your response here should be two-to-four paragraphs in length.

Section 8
Write a one-to-three paragraph introduction to this section (professional development). A great reference/resource is the Amey and Reesor chapter on professional development.
PROFESSIONAL STRENGTHS
Identify your strengths as a professional and how they will help in your work with college students. This should be two-to-four paragraphs in length.
PROFESSIONAL CHALLENGES/WEAKNESSES
Identify your weaknesses as a professional, how they hinder/challenge your work with college students, and ways you can overcome them. This should be two-to-four paragraphs in length.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
In this section, you should describe the key points of the professional development plan you have created (we will create this in class). This should be two-to-four paragraphs in length. You will include a hyperlink to the PDF of your professional development plan.

In this section, you should indicate what your desired career would be in higher education – department/institutional type
